Linux on Acer n35

2012-03-25

The Acer n35 is an ARM-based handheld running Windows CE. It has a Samsung S3C2410 processor (ARM920T, 266MHz), 32MB of SDRAM and an equal amount of flash memory, MMC card slot, color display with touchscreen and a GPS receiver.

Based on the work of Christer Weinigel and Jiri Pinkava I put together instructions and patches for compiling a Linux userland based on buildroot (2012.02) and kernel (3.1) for this device. The git repository is available via git. See the README in this repository for more information.
